After advising clients for nearly 20 years in private practice and serving as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of a high-growth private equity sponsored company, I realized the importance and power of the simple word “yes”.
Too often, legal advice starts and ends with what can’t be done. I wanted to build a different kind of legal experience—one that takes the time to understand the people and business behind the legal issues, solves problems thoughtfully, and delivers practical guidance clients can rely on. That means being practical, creative, and honest about risk, but also committed to solutions. Not forcing answers but clearing obstacles when possible and helping clients make informed, confident decisions.
I formed SY Law (pronounced SÌ, which in several languages means “yes”) to practice law in a way that feels true to who I am—curious, solution-oriented, and deeply invested in helping people and businesses navigate challenges with confidence. SY Law was built on my belief that good legal work is not just about knowing the law, but about understanding the ‘why,’ showing up consistently, and helping clients move forward with confidence.
